Inserting a Tape Make sure that the battery pack or another power source is attached. 1 Press the small blue button on the EJECT switch and aw simultaneously slide EJECT in the direction of the arrow. The cassette compartment O k•a EJECT automatically lifts up and opens toward you. 2 Insert a tape with the window facing outside. • 0 3 Close the cassette holder by pressing the area on the cassette compartment marked "PUSH". a Preventing Accidental Erasure Slide the red tab closing the window to prevent accidental recording. To re-record on the tape, slide the tab opening the window. If you try to record with the red mark exposed, the ••.. and indicators flash in the viewfinder and beeps sound for about 5 seconds.
