Available features G-PROTECTION function The G-PROTECTION function has been developed to provide excellent protection against sound skipping while jogging. This function provides a higher level of shock protection than the traditional one. While jogging, be sure to hold your CD player with the i/REMOTE jack facing upward. There is no ON/OFF switch of the G-PROTECTION function on this CD player and its remote control. You can always enjoy high quality CD sound using the G-PROTECTION function. Note Sound may skip if: - the CD player receives stronger continuous shock than expected or - a dirty or scratched CD is played. Displaying CD text information When you play a CD containing CD text information, the disc name, artist name, elapsed playing time, etc., appear in the display. Display on the remote control CD text appears in this portion.* "Track number" or "the number of tracks left" appears. * While the CD player is reading the information on the CD, "READING" appears. Press DISPLAY. Each time you press the button, the display changes as follows: Display Normal play Name of the current track Elapsed playing time Track number Press DISPLAY once. Name of the current track and its artist Remaining time on the current track Track number Press DISPLAY twice. Name of the CD and its artist Remaining time on the CD** The number of tracks left** ** Not displayed during Single play, Shuffle play or PGM play.
