Help Guide Digital Still Camera DSC-HX99 HDMI Settings: HDMI Audio Out. (movie) When the camera is connected to an external device such as a television via an HDMI cable (sold separately), the audio picked up by the camera's microphone is output to the external device during movie shooting and standby mode. During shooting, you can check both the image and sound from the external device. Standby for movie shooting This is the state before you start movie shooting by pressing the MOVIE button, after turning the mode dial to (Movie) and setting the values for shutter speed and aperture. The icon "STBY" is displayed on the screen. 1 MENU → (Setup) → [HDMI Settings] → [ HDMI Audio Out.] → desired setting. Menu item details On: Sound is output to the external device. Off: Sound is not output to the external device. Note During HDMI audio output, no electronic sound is produced when performing or ending movie recording even if [Audio signals] is set to [On].
