Symptom Remedy The remaining time displayed in the display window is shorter than that displayed in the supplied Digital Voice Editor software.  The unit requires a certain amount of memory for system operation. That amount is subtracted from the remaining time, which is the reason for the difference. The audio is weak or has poor quality when listening to the radio.  The batteries are weak. Replace all the batteries with new ones (page 9).  Move the unit away from the TV. The picture of your TV becomes unstable.  If you are listening to an FM program near the TV with an indoor antenna, move the unit away from the TV.
