Troubleshooting
Before taking the IC recorder for repair, check the following sections. Should any
problem persist after you have made these checks, consult your nearest Sony dealer.

The IC recorder cannot be
turned off with a display in
the window.
The IC recorder is not equipped with a power on/off switch.
The display always appears in the window. The power
consumption for the display is very small and will not have
any appreciable influence on the battery life. You can turn off
the display by sliding the HOLD switch in the direction of the
arrow. The display will also be turned off after 10 minutes if you
do not press any button.
The IC recorder does not
