4 Remove the front panel. Introducing the Sony LCD Projection TV Introducing the Sony LCD Projection TV ✍ The front panel cover is securely attached to the cabinet. Pull firmly on the cover in the numbered order (see illustration) with both hands to release it. 5 Loosen the screw on the lamp cover with a coin or similar object to remove it. 6 Loosen the two screws that secure the lamp, then pull out the lamp. The lamp is very hot immediately after use. Never touch the front glass of the lamp or the surrounding parts. Loosen the two screws with the hex key supplied with the lamp. Hold the handle and pull straight out. ✍ After it has cooled, place the used lamp into the empty box of the replacement lamp. Never put the used lamp into a plastic bag. (Continued) 17

Loosen the two screws that secure the lamp, then pull out the lamp.
The lamp is very hot immediately after use. Never touch the front glass
of the lamp or the surrounding parts.

After it has cooled, place the used lamp into the empty box of the
replacement lamp. Never put the used lamp into a plastic bag.
