Using the Settings Audio Sound Mode: Reset: Treble: Bass: Balance: Steady Sound: Effect: MTS: Speaker: Audio Out: TV Dynamic Natural 0Clear Voice 0 0 Off Off Stereo On Select : Set: Back: Exit: WEGA GATE Selecting Audio Options z To change from one Sound Mode option to another, use SOUND on the remote control. z Treble, Bass and Balance are adjustable when the Audio Out option is set to Variable. z Sound Mode settings are independent of Treble/Bass settings. z To change from one Effect option to another, use on the remote control. z To change from one MTS option to another, use MTS/SAP on the remote control. z MTS is not available when Video, Component, HDMI or PC input is selected. Option Sound Mode Customized sound listening Reset Treble Bass Balance Steady Sound Effect MTS Enjoy stereo, bilingual and mono programs Description Dynamic Select to enhance treble and bass. Natural Flat setting. Clear Voice Suitable for spoken dialogue. Reset the following settings; Treble, Bass and Balance to the default setting. Adjust to increase or decrease higher-pitched sounds. Adjust to increase or decrease lower-pitched sounds. Adjust to emphasize left or right speaker balance. Auto Select to stabilize the volume. Off Select to turn off Steady Sound. TruSurround Select for surround sound (for stereo programs only). Simulated Adds a surround-like effect to mono programs. Off Select for normal stereo or mono reception. Stereo Select for stereo reception when viewing a program broadcast in stereo. Auto SAP Select to automatically switch the TV to second audio programs when a signal is received. If no SAP signal is present, the TV remains in Stereo mode. Mono Select for mono reception. Use to reduce noise during weak stereo broadcasts. (Continued) 49
