Using the Menus Using the Basic Menu To select the Basic Menu 1 Press MENU. 2 Select . Selecting Basic Options z As a shortcut to using the menus, use the button on the remote control to cycle through available audio settings. The Basic Menu includes the following options: Option Picture Caption Vision Effect Advanced Menu Description Adjust the picture contrast. Displays your current advanced menu setting: (CC1-4, TEXT 1-4, or XDS) and OFF. SRS Produces a dynamic three- dimensional sound for stereo signals (models KV-32FV16, 32FV26, 36FV16, and 36FV26 only). Simulated Adds a surround-like effect to mono programs (models KV-32FV16, 32FV26, 36FV16, and 36FV26 only). Surround Select for Surround sound (models KV-36FS12 and 36FS16 only). OFF Normal stereo or mono reception. Select to return to the advanced menus. 36
