s on E•iting apes (continued) 2 Set the desired play duration, using either the I44 /NI and 44 /N buttons. as DOI • To set the minutes Each time you press theI44 /NI button, the play duration for one side of the tape is displayed as follows. C-46 (23.00 min) - C-54 (27.00 min) C-90 (45.00 min) C-60 (30.00 min) C-74 (37.00 min) • To set the seconds Each time you press the 44 / ►► button, the seconds will be set in 10 second shifts. 3 Press the►button to start playing. After the designated time, play fades out and pauses. Tape side B lights up. Press theII or► button to resume playing for the other side of the tape. If you press the FADER button, fade in will start. When the play fades out for the second time, the unit pauses and the time fade function is cancelled. To cancel time fade Press the EDIT/TIME FADE button again or press the 44 / ►► button during play. To display the time remaining until the set time Press the TIME button twice. If you want to start play by fading in 1 Press the II button. The unit enters the pause mode. 2 Press the EDIT/TIME FADE button once. "TIME FADE" is displayed. 3 Set the desired play duration, following step 2 of "Fading Out at the Desired Time" on this page. 4 To start play, press the FADER button. Play will start fading in and end at the set time fading out. When playback of a disc ended before the designated playing time The time fade function will remain effective even for a new disc added to the remaining playing time originally designated, and the fade out starts in accordance with the initially set fade time. If you press the PEAK SEARCH button after setting the Time Fade play duration Time Fade is cancelled but peak search remains active. Note The desired play duration can be set up to 59 minutes and 50 seconds. 22
