Receiving calls VOL switch (HOLD) (FLASH) 1 When you hear the phone ring, • Press (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) whichever button is flashing. or • Pick up the handset from the base phone when the handset is placed on the base phone. The corresponding line button lights up, so you can know which line is used. 2 When you are done talking, press (OFF) or replace the handset on the base phone. The corresponding line button goes off. Additional tasks When calls come in on line 1 and line 2 at the same time The phone rings with the line which comes in first. When you pick up the handset from the base phone, the line which comes in first will be connected. To Do this Put a call on hold. Press (HOLD). The LINE 1 or LINE 2 button will flash slowly.
