Playing a tape You can use any type of tape, TYPE I (normal), TYPE II (CrO2) or TYPE IV (metal) , since the deck automatically detects the tape type. You can also use the jog dial's AMS* functions to quickly search for songs you want to hear. To select either deck A or B, press DECK A ( or DECK B ( on the remote.
