• Synchro-recording cannot be done if the connecting cord is not an optical cable, or if the cable is connected to the MIC (PLUG IN POWER) jack. • You cannot manually change the recording mode or the recording level during synchro-recording. Recording without overwriting existing material If you wish to avoid overwriting the current contents of an MD, do the following procedure. All new material will then be recorded from the end of the current contents.
