Using the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software The Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software enables you to view the data, which is transferred from your CLIÉ handheld by the HotSync® operation, on your computer. Additionally, the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software has the same functions as the Date Book, Address Book, To Do List, and Memo Pad applications so that you can enter or modify schedules or address data on your computer and export data to your CLIÉ handheld. Starting the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software 1 Double-click the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software icon on the Windows desktop. Or click Start, select Programs (All Programs in Windows XP), Sony Handheld, and Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software. The Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software starts. Tip To quit the Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software Click the close button in the top right-hand corner of the screen or select Exit from the File menu.
