Precautions for Preventing Access to the Camera by an Unintended Third Party The camera settings may be changed by an unintended third party on the network, depending on the usage environment. The camera can be fraudulently accessed in a network environment where a device is connected or connectable to the network without the administrator's permission, or where a computer or other network device connected to the network can be used without any permission. With the customer's responsibility, connect to the network environment such as above. To use this camera, it is necessary to set the password after installing the camera. Refer to "Setting the Initial Password" (page 49) for how to set the password. Notes on Usage • When you shoot with this camera, respect the privacy of others, follow the local privacy law, and regulations or ethical standards of the shooting location. • Do not use this camera for illegal or inadequate purposes. • Do not use this camera for slander, illtreatment, harassment, stalking, threats, or actions which entrench on legal titles such as privacy rights or publicity rights, etc. of others. • Usage of this camera is not assumed for use by military or law enforcement. Privacy Notice The tracking function of this unit automatically recognizes the subject, controls the pan/tilt/ zoom, uses the tracking function and facerecognition technology by AI to include the subject within the screen. This function processes the "living body" data of the subject's face which you have selected as the tracking object. This recognized data is saved for a fixed term in this unit. This data is not sent to Sony. The other acquired skeleton and face information are not saved in this unit, and these recognition data can be deleted by turning off the unit, standby or stopping the tracking function. By using the unit's function, you are responsible for gathering or using the subject's image or data under the applied data protection law. It is recommended to tell the target person of the tracking function and face-recognition technology used by this unit. For inquiries, contact Sony customer support. 5

Precautions for Preventing
Access to the Camera by an
Unintended Third Party
The camera settings may be changed by an
unintended third party on the network,
depending on the usage environment.
The camera can be fraudulently accessed in a
network environment where a device is
connected or connectable to the network
without the administrator’s permission, or where
a computer or other network device connected
to the network can be used without any
permission.
With the customer’s responsibility, connect to
the network environment such as above.
To use this camera, it is necessary to set the
password after installing the camera. Refer to
“Setting the Initial Password” (page 49) for how
to set the password.
Privacy Notice
The tracking function of this unit automatically
recognizes the subject, controls the pan/tilt/
zoom, uses the tracking function and face-
recognition technology by AI to include the
subject within the screen. This function
processes the “living body” data of the subject’s
face which you have selected as the tracking
object. This recognized data is saved for a fixed
