CONTROL S VISUAL OUT Jack (minijack) Used to extend the utility of this unit by providing for the connection of optional Sony video equipment which has CONTROL S iN Jack • 0 CONTROL S AUDIO OUT connector(4-pin) Connect to the CONTROL S IN or MREMOTE IN connector of other Sony equipment using a 4-pin flat remote control cord in order to control the audio system using the supplied remote commander. (phono ground) terminal Connect the ground wire of a turntable system. Note in some particular MM (moving magnet) type cartridges, the ground for signal Is connected to the ground for cartridge body. if this type of cartridge should be installed to a metal cartridge shell, current will flow through the tonearm ground in a loop and will cause hum noise. In this case, disconnect the turntable ground wire from the AT terminal, or disconnect the ground for cartridge body from the ground for signal. 6 MONITOR VIDEO OUT Jack (phono jack) Connect to the video input of a component TV. The video signal selected by the button described below Is put out from here. STR-AV550: VIDEO1or VIDEO 2 button STR-AV650: TV, VIDEO 1or VIDEO 2 button and FIR button 1:1] TV VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN jacks (phono Jack) (STR-AV650 only) Connect to the VIDEO/AUDIO OUT Jacks of the TV tuner. VIDEO 2 VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN jacks (phono Jack) Connect to the VIDEO/AUDIO OUT jacks of the VCR 2 (for playback only). ID VIDEO 1 VIDEO OUT/AUDIO OUT jacks (phono jack) Connect to the VIDEO/AUDiO IN Jacks of the VCR 1(for recording).
