Receiving FM/AM Broadcasts How to receive a broadcast When you know the frequency See "Direct Access Tuning". When you do not know the frequency FM: See "Automatic Tuning". AM: See "Manual Tuning". Tuning in a preset frequency See "Preset Tuning". Direct Access Tuning POWER -•• ON 42 3 5 ED Select SPEAKERS A or B. 1 Press TUNER. 2 Select FM or AM. 3 Press TUNING DIRECT. 4 Press the appropriate numeric buttons to enter the frequency. (See examples below.) 5 Adjust the volume. Tune in the station as described in "Direct Access Tuning". If the frequency figures flash in the display window The entered number is outside the receiver's frequency range (FM 87.5 to 108 MHz; AM 530 to 1710 kHz). Enter the correct frequency.
