(Repetition rate of 6 flashes) Cause and Remedy • The lamp cover or the air filter cover is detached. c Attach the cover securely (1 pages 49 and 51). • The lamp has reached the end of its life. c Replace the lamp (1 page 49). • The lamp has reached a high temperature. c Wait for 60 seconds until the lamp cools, then turn on the power again. • The internal temperature is unusually high. c Check to ensure that nothing is blocking the ventilation holes. • The projector is being used at a high altitude. c Ensure that "High Altitude Mode" in the INSTALL SETTING menu is set to "On." The fan is broken. c Consult with qualified Sony personnel. Unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet after the :/1 switch stops flashing, plug the power cord to the wall outlet, then turn the projector on again. If the :/1 switch flashes in red and the problem persists, the electrical system has failed. c Consult with qualified Sony personnel.
