Setting Up Preparing the power sources You can use the AC power, batteries or the car battery as a power source. 13Battery compartment Tip When you operate the player on batteries, replace the back-up batteries when the time display dims or when you cannot operate the timer. Replace all the batteries with new ones. With normal use, the batteries should last for about 6 months. Insert three size AA (R6) batteries (not supplied) into
the battery compartment. These batteries work to save
the memory data.
