Polarity of the plug • Use the supplied car battery cord only with a negative # grounded car that uses a 12 V battery. • If the inside of the cigarette lighter socket is dirty with ashes, etc., the plug of the car battery cord may become heated due to a bad contact. Before connecting the cord, be sure to clean the socket. • When listening to the radio on this player, the car battery cord may cause noise.
