English Adjusting the Control Handle Adjusting the Blower Tube 1 2 3 N Open the clamping lever (3). N Move the control handle (1) along the blower tube (2) to the most comfortable position. N Close the clamping lever (3). 0416BA007 KN 1 2 N Loosen the union nut (1). N Pull the blower tube (1) out to the required length. N Tighten the union nut (1). Wear Mark on Nozzle 0416BA015 KN N Secure the blower tube to the handle on the backplate with the hook and loop fastener. 0416BA009 KN 6 45 N Engage the throttle cable (4) with sleeve (5) in the retainer (6). 0416BA008 KN The front end of the nozzle wears away due to abrasive ground contact during operation. The nozzle is subject to normal wear and tear and must be replaced when the wear mark is reached. Transport Aid When storing or transporting the machine: 12 BR 450, BR 450 C

Adjusting the Control Handle
N
Open the clamping lever (3).
N
Move the control handle (1) along
the blower tube (2) to the most
comfortable position.
N
Close the clamping lever (3).
N
Engage the throttle cable (4) with
sleeve (5) in the retainer (6).
Adjusting the Blower Tube
N
Loosen the union nut (1).
N
Pull the blower tube (1) out to the
required length.
N
Tighten the union nut (1).
Wear Mark on Nozzle
The front end of the nozzle wears away
due to abrasive ground contact during
operation. The nozzle is subject to
normal wear and tear and must be
replaced when the wear mark is
reached.
Transport Aid
When storing or transporting the
machine:
N
Secure the blower tube to the
handle on the backplate with the
hook and loop fastener.
