Filler cap is now closed. If the filler cap will not engage into the tank housing The base of the filler cap is rotated in relation to the upper part. N Look at the black alignment marks on the top of the filler cap. 1 001BA241 KN English Starting / Stopping the Engine N Observe safety precautions - see chapter on "Safety Precautions and Working Techniques". 001BA239 KN STOP 0023BA026 KN N With the filler cap in the filling neck, twist it counterclockwise until it drops into its seat. N Continue to twist the filler cap counterclockwise (approx. 1/4 turn) - this will twist the base of the cap into the correct position. N While pushing down on the cap, twist the filler cap clockwise and close it - see section "Closing." 1 3 2 The slide control (3) is in the normal run position F. N Depress the lockout lever (1) and pull the throttle trigger (2) - hold them in that position. N Move the slide control (3) to START and hold it there. N Let go of the lockout lever, throttle trigger and slide control. This is the starting throttle position. 001BA238 KN 0023BA018 KN Left: Right: Base of filler cap is rotated - interior marking (1) is aligned with the exterior marking. Base of filler cap is in the correct position - interior marking is below the clip. It does not align with the exterior marking. 4 N Set the choke lever (4) to g if the engine is cold e for warm start - also use this posi- tion if the engine has been running but is still cold. If the filler cap will not engage into the
tank housing
The base of the filler cap is rotated in
relation to the upper part.

Look at the black alignment marks
on the top of the filler cap.
N
With the filler cap in the filling neck,
twist it counterclockwise until it
drops into its seat.
N
Continue to twist the filler cap
counterclockwise (approx. 1/4 turn)
– this will twist the base of the cap
into the correct position.
N
While pushing down on the cap,
twist the filler cap clockwise and
close it – see section "Closing."
N
Observe safety precautions – see
chapter on "Safety Precautions and
Working Techniques".
The slide control (3) is in the normal run
position

Depress the lockout lever (1) and
pull the throttle trigger (2) – hold
them in that position.

Move the slide control
(3) to
START
and hold it there.
N
Let go of the lockout lever, throttle
trigger and slide control. This is the
starting throttle position.
N
Set the choke lever (4) to

Base of filler cap is rotated –
interior marking (1) is aligned
with the exterior marking.
Right:
Base of filler cap is in the cor

rect position – interior
marking is below the clip. It
does not align with the exte
