English / USA Guide to Using this Manual Important Information This STIHL attachment may be mounted to different STIHL basic power tools (powerhead with shaft and handle system). The approved basic power tool models are listed in chapter "Approved Basic Power Tools". Other combinations of the attachment and non-approved power tools are not permitted since they may result in accidents or serious personal injury. This instruction manual contains only descriptions of procedures and conditions in which the attachment and power tool combination differs from the basic power tool. For correct operation of your attachment and power tool combination, also read and observe the appropriate chapters in the instruction manual of the basic power tool you are using. Pictograms All the pictograms attached to the machine are shown and explained in this manual. The operating and handling instructions are supported by illustrations.
