Start up Your Synology NAS, To start up your SA3400

3 Press the power button on the front panel to power on your SA3400. The expansion unit ID of RX1217sas/ RX2417sas connected to SA3400 will be displayed in sequence on the back panel. Note: Even with the Synology NAS and expansion unit(s) powered on, you can still expand with one or more expansion unit if needed. To do so, repeat above steps to connect the expansion cables and power cords of the other expansion units. Your expansion units will automatically power on if they are correctly connected, and the expansion unit ID will be displayed accordingly after a few seconds (if DSM is correctly installed in the Synology NAS server). Start up Your Synology NAS To start up your SA3400: 1 Connect one end of each power cord to the power ports located on the back of the SA3400 and the other end to a power outlet. 2 Connect at least one LAN cable to one of the LAN ports and the other end to your switch, router, or hub. 3 Press the power button to turn on the SA3400. Start up Your Synology NAS
To start up your SA3400:
