The signals output from the LINE OUT 1-2 jacks (1-4 jacks on US-4x4) can be set in the Settings Panel. See "3 Line Outputs items" in the "Settings page" section of "6 - Using the Settings Panel" in the Reference Manual for details. r MIDI OUT connector This 5-pin DIN is a standard MIDI output connector. This outputs MIDI signals. t MIDI IN connector This 5-pin DIN is a standard MIDI input connector. Use this to input MIDI signals. y USB port Use the included USB cable to connect the unit to a computer or an iOS device. (Supports USB 2.0.) u DC IN 5V connector (US-2x2 only) To use this unit when connected to an iOS device, connect an external power supply device here. See "Connecting the power" on page 10 for details. i DC IN 12V connector (US-4x4 only) Connect the included DC12V AC adapter (PS-P1220E) here. Installing the dedicated software To use this unit, a dedicated software must be installed on a computer. Download the latest dedicated software for the operating system you are using from the TEAC Global Site (http://teac-global.com/). ii On a Windows computer, this will install the Windows driver and Settings Panel application. ii Installing the dedicated software on a Mac will install only the Mac Settings Panel application. The standard OS driver will be used. ii With an iOS device, the standard OS driver will be used, so there is no need to install any . CAUTION Before starting to install software, quit other applications. Installing the Windows dedicated software Follow the procedures below to install the Windows dedicated software. CAUTION • Complete installation of the Windows dedicated software on the computer before connecting the unit to it with the USB cable. • If you connected the unit to the computer using the USB cable before installing the Windows dedicated software and the "Found New Hardware Wizard" launched, close the Wizard and disconnect the USB cable. 88 Windows dedicated software installation procedures 1. LINE OUT (BALANCED) jacks
These standard TRS jacks are analog line outputs.

jacks

jacks on US-4x4) can be set in the Settings

the Reference Manual for details.

Use this to input MIDI signals.

a computer or an iOS device. (Supports USB 2.0.)

Installing the dedicated software
To use this unit, a dedicated software must be
installed on a computer.
Download the latest dedicated software for the
operating system you are using from the TEAC Global
Site (
http://teac-global.com/
).

On a Windows computer, this will install the
