Chapter 13 Manage the Router 13. 11. Control the LED The LED of the router indicates its activities and status. You can enable the Night Mode feature to specify a time period during which the LED is off. 1. Visit http://tplinkwifi.net, and log in with your TP-Link ID or the password you set for the router. 2. Go to Advanced > System > LED Control. 3. Enable Night Mode. 4. Specify the LED off time, and the LED will be off during this period every day. Note: The effective LED off time is based on the time of the router. You can go to Advanced > System > Time & Language to modify the time. 5. Click SAVE. 13. 12. Test Your Internet Speed Speedtest® provides an easy way to monitor your network speed. It reveals the current upload and download speeds received from your provider and gives practical advice about the activities you can enjoy. • To test your internet speed: 1. Visit http://tplinkwifi.net, and log in with your TP-Link ID or the password you set for the router. 2. Go to Network Map and click SPEED TEST. 3. If it is the first time you run a test, the router will start the test automatically. Otherwise, click TEST AGAIN. 100
