The entry in Figure 3-21 indicates: The outgoing packets sent by port 1, port 2, port 3 and port 5 (mirrored ports) will be copied to port 4 (mirroring port). Application Example: To monitor all the traffic and analyze the network abnormity for an enterprise's network, please set the Port Mirror function as below: 1) Check the box before Enable Port Mirror to enable the Port Mirror function and select the Ingress & Egress mode. 2) Select Port 3 to be the Mirroring Port to monitor all the packets of the other ports. 3) Select all the other ports to be the Mirrored Ports. 4) Click the button to apply. 3.1.7.3 Rate Control On this page, you can control the traffic rate for the specific packets on each port so as to manage your network flow.
