Installation MANUAL 600 cfm Flexible Blower Model VTD600P FOR USE WITH THESE DOWNDRAFT MODELS CAUTION To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, install this blower only with Masterpiece® Series Downdraft Hood models shown below. Other downdraft hood models cannot be substituted. (Downdraft hoods sold separately). IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS General notes Note: Examine the appliance after unpacking it. In the event of transport damage, do not plug it in. Note: Do not remove any of the aluminum tape as it is needed for sealing air leaks. WARNING TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS, OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING: • Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you have questions, contact the manufacturer. • Before servicing or cleaning unit, switch power off at service panel and lock the service disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally • When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel.
