Using the TV's Features S Selecting the Audio OUT sound This feature allows you to select the sound source (MAIN or POP) that is output from the AUDIO OUT terminals. This is useful when amplifying or recording the POP sound with external equipment while hearing the sound of the main picture through the built-in speakers. See "Connecting an audio system" on page 17. To select the Audio OUT sound: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the AUDIO menu appears. 2. Press y or z to highlight AUDIO OUT. 3. Press x or • to select MAIN or POP. AUD I O SBS SBS LEVEL SPEAKERS AUDI O OUT STABLE SOUND ONN 100 ON / MA I N/POP OFF • MAIN: Outputs the sound of the main program through the AUDIO OUT terminals. • POP: Outputs the sound of the POP program through the AUDIO OUT terminals. Note: Make sure the volume control of your audio amplifier is set to a moderate listening level. To turn on the StableSound® feature: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the AUDIO menu appears. 2. Press y or z to highlight STABLE SOUND. 3. Press x or • to select ON. Note: When the POP is not on the screen, the sound of the main program is output, even if the POP sound is selected.
