For example, when the room is dark, the ALS will automatically reduce the contrast (which reduces eye strain). ALS is energized when the ALS menu is set to ON. To activate the ALS: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears. 2. Press y or z to highlight ALS. 3. Press x or • to highlight ON. Saving your new preferences
