DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1-9: OPERATION PCB/DVD PCB/DVD DECK (Refer to Fig. 1-9) 1. Short circuit the position shown in Fig. 1-9 using a soldering iron. If you remove the DVD Deck with no soldering, the Laser may be damaged. 2. Remove the 2 screws 1. 3. Remove the Operation PCB in the direction of arrow (A). 4. Remove the 2 screws 2. 5. Remove the Front Shield in the direction of arrow (B). 6. Disconnect the following connectors: (CP2601, CP2602 and CP2603). 7. Remove the 4 screws 3. 8. Remove the DVD Deck in the direction of arrow (C). 9. Remove the 2 screws 4. 10. Remove the DVD PCB in the direction of arrow (D). Before your operation, please read "PREPARATION OF SERVICING". 2. Use the Lead Free solder. 3. Manual soldering conditions • Soldering temperature: 320 ± 20˚C • Soldering time: Within 3 seconds • Soldering combination: Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu 4. When Soldering/Removing of solder, use the drawing equipment over the Pick Up Unit to keep the Flux smoke away from it. 5. When installing the DVD Deck, remove all the soldering on the short circuit position after the connection of Pick Up PCB and DVD PCB connector. 1-10: SCALER PCB (Refer to Fig. 1-10) 1. Remove the 2 screws 1. 2. Disconnect the following connectors: (CP4202 and CP4203). 3. Remove the Connector PCB in the direction of arrow (A). 4. Disconnect the following connector: (CP7201). 5. Remove the Scaler PCB in the direction of arrow (B). The FE Head may be damaged if you remove the cable by force. 1. Move the Cassette Holder Ass'y to the back side. 2. Remove the screw 1. 3. Remove the FE Head. 4. Remove the 3 screws 2. 5. Remove the screw 3. 6. Disconnect the following connectors: (CP3001, CP4501 and CP4502). 7.
