INTRODUCTION User's Manual Drag'n Drop CD+DVD TOSHIBA Password Utility This easy-to-use software lets you record CDs and DVDs with just a few mouse clicks. You can create CDs and DVDs in the following formats: audio and data CDs and data DVDs. Audio CDs can play on a standard stereo CD player. This utility lets you set a password that restricts access to the computer. Options You can add a number of options to make your computer even more powerful and convenient to use. The following options are available: Memory expansion A256,512MBor1GB memorymodule(PC2700,DDR) can easily be installed in the computer. Standard battery pack An additional battery pack can be purchased from your TOSHIBA dealer. Use it as a spare or replacement. High-capacity An additional battery pack can be purchased from your battery pack TOSHIBA dealer. Use it as a spare or replacement. Universal AC adaptor If you use your computer at more than one site frequently, it may be convenient to purchase an additional universal AC adaptor for each site so you will not have to carry the adaptor with you. Security lock A slot is available to attach a security cable to the computer to deter theft. USB FDD Kit A 3 1/2" diskette drive accommodates 1.44-megabyte or 720-kilobyte diskette. It connects to a USB port. (You cannot format 720-kilobyte diskettes on Windows XP, but you can use previously formatted disks.) Wireless LAN Kit This option enables wireless LAN functions in computers that do not have wireless preinstalled. It is installed by dealers only.
