Chapter 4 Expansion Options Your computer is designed to work in your office as well as on the road. This chapter explains how to set up several optional external devices so that your notebook can provide all the convenience of a traditional desktop computer. To order additional devices and accessories, see the accessories information provided with your computer, or visit accessories.toshiba.com. Using your computer at the office By connecting an external full-size keyboard, an external monitor, a mouse and a printer, you can work with your computer as if it were a standard office model. You can connect a monitor and USB-compatible devices, such as the keyboard, mouse and printer, directly to the computer. For information on connecting a mouse and a printer, see the "Getting Started" on page 42. If you want to connect your computer to the office network, you can use the LAN port or your optional wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) capability. 123
