Some of the features described in this manual may not function properly if you use an operating system that was not pre-installed by TOSHIBA. Hardware Check to make sure you have all the following items: ■ PORTÉGÉ R400 Portable Personal Computer ■ AC adaptor and power cord (2-pin plug or 3-pin plug) ■ Battery pack (Is pre-installed in some computer) ■ 2nd Battery Pack (Is included with some models) ■ External optical disc drive (Is included with some models) ■ Tablet PC Pen The Tablet PC Pen is included together with spare pen tips and a tip removal tool in the small case coming with the product.
