70 Getting Started Using the optional external USB diskette drive 1 Click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes. The Printers and Faxes window appears. 2 Click Add a printer. The Add Printer Wizard appears. (Sample Image) Add Printer Wizard 3 Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your printer. Using the optional external USB diskette drive The optional external USB diskette drive allows you to use diskettes and is useful for installing software on the hard disk, exchanging information with other systems, and making backup copies of the files stored on your hard disk. Connecting an optional external diskette drive Some operations, such as creating a password service diskette, require a diskette drive designed for use with 3.5inch diskettes.
