■ The transmit level from this device is set at a fixed level and because of this there may be circumstances where the performance is less than optimal. Before reporting such occurrences as faults, please check the line with a standard Telepermitted telephone, and only report a fault if the phone performance is impaired. ■ It is recommended that this equipment be disconnected from the Telecom line during electrical storms. ■ When relocating the equipment, always disconnect the Telecom line connection before the power connection, and reconnect the power first. ■ This equipment may not be compatible with Telecom Distinctive Alert cadences and services such as FaxAbility.
