164 Exploring Your Computer's Features Using the i.LINK® port Returning the computer to its original configuration When you are finished using the tablet, follow the steps below to return the computer to its original configuration: 1 Return the Toshiba tablet pen to its slot on the right side of the computer. 2 Press the display latch release button. 3 Lift the display panel to its upright position. 4 Rotate the display panel counter-clockwise 180o. When you complete this task, the screen returns to its normal position facing the keyboard. 5 Slide the display latch toward the LCD screen. Using the i.LINK® port The i.LINK® port on the left side of the computer provides an extremely fast data transfer rate. In addition to high speed, the i.LINK® port also supports isochronous data transfer (the delivery of data at a guaranteed rate.) This makes it ideal for devices that transfer high levels of data in real-time, such as video devices. As with USB ports, the i.LINK® port supports both Plug-andPlay (automatic configuration) and hot swapping (the ability to connect and disconnect devices while the computer is on).
