Cleaning the battery charging contacts To maintain a good charge, clean the charging contacts on the cordless handset once a month. Dampen a cloth with plain water. Gently rub the damp cloth over the charging contacts until all visible dirt is removed. Dry the contacts thoroughly before returning the cordless handset to the charger. Caution: Do not use paint thinner, alcohol, or other chemical products. Doing so may discolor the surface of the telephone and damage the finish. Troubleshooting Traveling Out-of-Range During a call, as you begin to move your cordless handset too far from your base unit, noise increases. If you pass the range limits of the base, your call will terminate within one minute. Common Issues If your phone is not performing to your expectations, please try these simple steps first.
