THE INTEGRATED ANSWERING DEVICE note The time stamp will not be heard until you have set the time. Using your Answering System The message counter displays the number of messages stored in memory. If the display flashes, then there are new messages waiting for you. The answering system is designed to play your new messages first. After you play all your new messages, you can then play your old messages. Playing your messages 1) When the base is in standby mode, press play/stop. The system announces the number of new and old messages while the message counter displays only the number of new messages. The time and day that each message was received is announced after the message is played. The message counter will then display the number of current stored messages. 2) When all new messages have been played, you hear a confirmation tone and the system announces "End of messages." The system returns to standby. After you have reviewed your new messages, you can play your old messages by pressing play/stop again. Once you have listened to a new message, it then becomes an old message. The old messages will be played in the order in which they were received. Using your Answering System
The message counter displays the number of messages
stored in memory. If the display flashes, then there
are new messages waiting for you. The answering
system is designed to play your new messages first.
After you play all your new messages, you can then
play your old messages.
Playing your messages
1) When the base is in standby mode, press

beginning the message. To quickly scroll backwards through a message, press and
hold the

soft key. To repeat the previous message, press the
|<<
soft key
