Getting Started Getting Started Important Safety Instructions • Install and level the wine cellar on a floor that will hold its weight and in an area suitable for its size and use. • Do not install a wine cellar near a heat source, nor in a location where the surrounding temperature will fall below 60° F (16° C). • Do not allow your wine cellar to be exposed to the weather or outdoor elements. • Connect the wine cellar only to the appropriate kind of electrical outlet, with the correct power supply and grounding. (Refer to the Electrical Requirements section of the Installation Instructions.) • Properly maintain the wine cellar. • Be sure the wine cellar is not used by anyone unable to operate it properly. • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. • Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance. Proper Disposal (of old product) IMPORTANT: Now that you have a new wine cellar, it is extremely important that you dispose of your old appliance in a way that minimizes the possibility that children will find it. There have been many cases in years past of children crawling inside junked and abandoned refigerators and becoming trapped or suffocated. Contact your municipal waste disposal authority to find out the best and safest way to dispose of your old product.
