Product Care Troubleshooting Problem Range will not function. Oven does not operate in self-clean. Possible Cause and/or Remedy Range is not connected to electrical power: Have electrician check power circuit breaker, wiring, and fuses. Door is not shut tight enough for automatic door latch to lock. Oven is not clean after selfclean cycle. Temperature control knob not rotated all the way past clean until it stops. Broil does not work. Door will not open. Oven light will not work. Igniters will not work. Igniters sparking but no flame ignition. Igniters sparking continuously after flame ignition. Burner ignites but flame is large, distorted, or yellow. Temperature control knob is rotated too far past broil position. Oven is still in self-clean mode. If oven is hot, door latch will release when safe temperature is reached. Light bulb is burned out. Range is not connected to power. Circuit is tripped. Fuse is blown. Range is not connected to power. Gas supply valve is in "OFF" position. Gas supply is interrupted. Power supply is not grounded. Power supply polarity is reversed. Igniters are wet or dirty. Burner ports are clogged. Unit is being operated on wrong type of gas. Air shutters not properly adjusted. 54 Service Information If service is required, call your dealer or authorized service agency. The name of the authorized service agency can be obtained from the dealer or distributor in your area.
