[ Transmitter Functions ] Model #473V Arming the system You can activate, or arm, the system by pressing on your transmitter for one second. When the system arms, you will hear a short siren sound, or chirp, and the brake light will flash once (If installed). Disarming the system To disarm the system press . You will hear two chirps, and the brake light will flash twice (If installed). If the siren chirps either four or five times when disarming, that means that the security system has been trigger while you were away. High Security Disarm This security system offers High Security Disarm. High Security Disarm is a feature that makes it possible to silence and reset the system while it is trig- gering , without disarming the system. If the system is triggered and the siren has been sounding for longer than six seconds, pressing on the transmitter will stop the trigger and return the unit to the arm state. The system will not disarm but rather reset. This prevents you from disabling the system should you wish to disarm it without visually checking the vehicle. Pressing , after resetting the system, will disarm the system; pressing this button during the first 5 seconds of the triggered sequence will disarm the security system immediately. NOTE: On some motorcycle, it is also possible to get a brake light flash when arming and disarming, along when in full trigger.
