Directory Speed dial Assign a speed dial number from the directory or caller ID log 1. When reviewing directory (page 20) or caller ID log (page 29), press SPEED DIAL. The screen shows Assign to speed dial list? Press MENU/SELECT. LINDA MILLER 8003604121 2. Press DIRp or CIDq to choose your desired speed dial location (0-9), then press MENU/SELECT. -ORUse the dialing keys (0-9) to select the desired speed dial location (0-9). Assign to speed dial list? 3. If the speed dial location is empty, the screen shows Assigned to speed dial #X (X refers to the speed dial location). -OR- >1:Robert Brown 2:Not assigned If the speed dial location is occupied, the screen shows Replace? Press MENU/SELECT to confirm. The screen shows Assigned to speed dial #X (X refers to the speed dial location). Replace? NOTE: You cannot assign a caller ID log entry to speed dial when the directory is full. You have to delete some directory entries (page 22) to make room for new assignments. Assigned to speed dial #1 Delete a speed dial number 1. Press SPEED DIAL when the telephone is in idle mode. 2. Press DIRp or CIDq, or dialing keys (0-9) to select the desired location, then press DELETE X to delete the displayed speed dial number. The screen displays Delete entry? with the name. 3. Press MENU/SELECT to confirm. There is a confirmation tone and the screen shows Deleted. Delete entry? LINDA MILLER Deleted 24
