Call log Call log If you subscribe to caller ID service, information about each caller will appear after the first or second ring. If you answer a call before the caller's information appear on the screen, it will not be saved in the call log. • The call log stores up to 50 entries. Each entry has up to 24 digits for the phone number and 15 characters for the name. If the phone number has more than 15 digits, only the last 15 digits appear. If the name has more than 15 characters, only the first 15 characters are shown and saved in the call log. • Call log entries are shared by all system devices. Any modifications made on one device apply to all. • You can review, redial, and copy an entry into the directory. • Entries appear in reverse chronological order. • When the call log is full, the oldest entry is deleted to make room for new incoming call information. • XX Missed calls shows when there are new call log entries that have not been reviewed. • Call log empty shows when you access the call log without records. • Only one system device can review the call log at a time. If a system device tries to enter the call log while another system device is already in it, its screen displays Not available at this time. Memory match If the incoming telephone number matches the last seven digits of a telephone number in your directory, the name that appears on the screen matches the corresponding name in your directory. For example, if Mike Smith calls, his name appears as Mike if this is how you entered it into your directory.
