GETTING STARTED BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit and remote control are turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit and remote control. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw. 3. First, install 6 new "AA" size (LR6/AM-3) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box in the main unit. Then, install 2 new "AA" size (LR6/AM-3) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box in the remote control. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.) 4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw in the main unit and remote control to secure it.
