To Use the Bake Function Preheat oven for 5 to 7 minutes at desired temperature with oven rack in place. Step 1. Place baking pan with food inside on wire rack. Step 2. Close glass door completely. Step 3. Turn the Function dial to BAKE. Step 4. Turn the Timer dial to desired cook time. Step 5. When baking is complete, open door completely and remove food. Step 6. To turn oven off, turn Timer knob to OFF position. To Use the Broil Function Step 1. Turn the Function dial to Broil. Step 2. Attach baking pan to base of oven/broil rack by sliding the pan under the rack to fit into the metal brackets on the sides. Step 3. Place food on rack and slide broiling assembly into upper rack guides in oven. Step 4. Leave door open about one-half inch while broiling. Step 5. When broiling is complete, open door completely and remove food. Note: It is not necessary to preheat oven on Broil function. WARNING: Cooked food and metal rack can be very hot; handle with care. Do not leave Convection Toaster Oven unattended. Special note: If cook time is less than 20 minutes, you must turn Timer past the 20-minute mark then back to desired time. To turn oven off, turn Timer knob to OFF position. FAQs About Convection Baking What is Convection?
