2. Refer to HOW TO LOWER THE TREADMILL FOR USE on page 11. Follow step 2 on page 11 to lower the treadmill. Hold a Handrail (45) against the left Upright (46) as shown. Attach the Handrail with two black Handrail Bolts (65), two black Handrail Washers (43), and two Handrail Star Washers (44). Do not tighten the Handrail Bolts yet. Have a second person hold the Console Base (52) and the right Handrail (45) near the right Upright (46) as shown. Feed the excess Wire Harness (60) into the upper end of the Handrail and the Upright. Attach the right Handrail (45) to the right Upright (46) with two black Handrail Bolts (65), two black Handrail Washers (43), and two Handrail Star Washers (44). Do not tighten the Handrail Bolts yet. Be careful not to pinch the Wire Harness (60). 2 60 52 45 46 45 46 44 43 60 65 44 43 65 3. Attach the Console Base (52) to the Handrails (45) with four Screws (2). 3 52 Feed the excess Wire Harness (60) into the upper end of the right Handrail (45). Tighten all parts used in steps 2 and 3. 60 45 2 45 2 4. Attach the Storage Latch (48) to the left Upright (46) with two Screws (2). Be careful not to overtighten the 4 Screws. 48 2 46 5. Attach a Weight Rack (41) to the side of the right Upright Base (46) with six Weight Rack Screws (40). 5 Set a 1.4-kg (3-lb.) Weight (not shown) on the bottom hanger, a 1-kg (2-lb.) Weight on the center hanger, and a .45-kg (1-lb.) Weight on the top hanger. Attach the other Weight Rack and Weights to the left Upright as described above (not shown). 6. Make sure that all parts are tightened before you use the treadmill. To protect the floor or carpet, place a mat under the treadmill. 6 46 41 40 40 Hanger 40
