Installing You can install a griddle accessory on the left side of your cooktop. To use this accessory you must have grill accessory Part Number SCM20DB. To get the griddle accessory, order Part Number SCM40DB from a Whirlpool service company or dealer (see Step 2 on page 33) or call the Whirlpool Consumer Assistance Center toll-free 1-800-253-1301. Mixer tube openings Orifices Side openings 1. Make sure the grill burner is installed and the control knobs are turned off. 2. If grill burner is not installed, set the grill burner into place. Mixer tube openings should be pointed toward the orifices. Slide the burner toward the orifices until the ignitor is in between the front and rear grill sections. Lower into place until the notches in the side of the burner bracket rest on the burner support pins. NOTE: Do not use the grill grates. continued on next page 25

Griddle
Installing
You can install a griddle accessory on the
left side of your cooktop. To use this acces-
sory you must have grill accessory Part
Number SCM20DB. To get the griddle
accessory, order Part Number SCM40DB
from a Whirlpool service company or dealer
(see Step 2 on page 33) or call the Whirlpool
Consumer Assistance Center toll-free

Make sure
the grill burner is installed and
the control knobs are turned off.
2.
If grill burner is not installed, set
the grill burner into place. Mixer tube
openings should be pointed toward the
orifices.
Slide
the burner toward the orifices
until the ignitor is in between the front and
rear grill sections.
Lower
into place until the
notches in the side of the burner bracket
rest on the burner support pins.
