3. Depending on your model, remove plastic tag holding three 10-32 hex nuts from the middle post of the terminal block. OR Remove the top 10-32 hex nut from each of the three terminal blocks and set aside. 2. Allow enough slack in the wire to easily attach the wiring terminal block. 3. Complete installation following instructions for your type of electrical connection: 4-wire (recommended) 3-wire (if 4-wire is not available) Electrical Connection Options If your home has: 3-wire direct ³⁄₈" (1.0 cm) And you will be connecting to: A circuit breaker box or fused disconnect Go to Section: 3-Wire Connection: Direct Wire 3" (7.6 cm) 4-wire direct ³⁄₈" (1.0 cm) A circuit breaker 4-Wire Connection: box or fused Direct Wire disconnect 4.
