PROBLEM Cooktop cooking results not what expected Oven will not operate Convention fan not turning on. Power failure (display shows flashing time) Error code (display shows letter followed by number) Start needs to be pressed so a cycle can begin (display shows "PRESS START"). Tap water was used in the Clean cycle. Range is not level. SOLUTIONS Ideal cookware should have a flat bottom, straight sides and a well fitting lid, and the material should be of a medium to heavy thickness. See "Cooktop Use" section. Level the range. See the Installation Instructions. If this is the first time the oven has been used, turn on any one of the surface burner knobs to release air from the gas lines. See "Electronic Oven Controls" section. Press and hold CONTROL LOCK for 3 seconds. Demo Mode will deactivate all heating elements. See "Demo Mode" in the "Electronic Oven Controls" section. This is normal. The convection fan will start running approximately 5 minutes into the cycle. If the oven door is opened during convention cooking, the fan will turn off immediately. It will come back on when the oven door is closed. If propane gas is being used, contact a service technician or see cover for contact information. Then use a cloth dampened with water to thoroughly remove any vinegar residue. Mineral deposits will collect on dry areas of the oven bottom during the Clean cycle. Level the range.
