CYCLE GUIDE Types of Fabric Soil Level Cottons, linens, synthetic fabrics Normal Fabric Select Normal Agitation / Spin Speed High/High Cycle Heavy Regular Wash Time* Cycle Details: 10-14 Use this cycle for normally soiled cottons and mixed fabric loads Sturdy fabrics, Colorfast items Heavy Heavy Duty High/High Super Wash Heavy 14-16 Use this cycle for heavily soiled cottons or sturdy fabrics. Pillows, sleeping bags, comforters, jackets Medium Bulky Items/ High/High Comforters Machine wash silks and hand wash fabrics Light Hand Wash Intermittent Low/Low Washable knits, machine wash silks Light Delicate Low/Low Work shirts and pants and synthetic fabrics Light/ Casual/Perm High/Low Medium Press Regular Heavy 10-14 This cycle thoroughly soaks and saturates large and nonabsorbent items. Add the load evenly around the basket wall in loose heaps. Light 6 Use for special care items. Brief low-speed agitations/ spins and short soaks provide the gentlest cleaning while minimizing wrinkling. Light Regular Light 6 Use for special care items. Brief lowspeed agitations and short soaks provide the gentlest cleaning. Low-speed spin minimizes wrinkling. 6-10 Use this cycle to wash no-iron fabrics and blends. Provides low speed/spin speeds to minimize wrinkling. * Approximate time in minutes ADDITIONAL CYCLES Extra Rinse Adds a second rinse. Select prior to starting washer to automatically add to wash cycle, eliminating need to return later to select a second rinse. Quick Wash This cycle can be used for washing 2-3 lightly soiled items that are needed quickly. Agitation and spin speeds will vary by the fabric selections. Soak This cycle provides agitation and unlimited soak time required to remove stains. Option 1 - To use same water for wash cycle: advance Cycle Select knob to a wash cycle. Add laundry products and start a new wash cycle as normal. Prewash This cycle helps to remove heavy soils requiring pretreatment. Prewash does not include a rinse cycle; proceed to setting Fabric Select and Cycle Select knobs and add laundry products as normal. Option 2 - Drain existing water: advance Cycle Select knob to a spin setting. Add laundry products and start a new wash cycle as normal. 5
